Destination

_I: Every time I arrive in Osirion, I feel at home. "I've returned home." Maybe it's because of my memories of the place. The first time I came back to this site, in 2015, I couldn't hold back my tears. I broke down in tears, and I couldn't contain what I felt. Haieptur, where Life is created, was the temple where women came to give birth, and therefore, 12,000 years ago, as a woman, in that temple I had experienced two of the greatest joys I could remember: the birth of my children. From the age of 11, I began to feel these memories, although it wasn't until I was 12 that I could see it, remember it. Being a child, I relived childbirth, the sensation of pain and pleasure that occurred when feeling a child emerge from your body. It's something a man could never comprehend, unless he remembers what it is. The way the body feels, transforms. Sensitivity, and a sort of full emptiness, in which you feel invaded and yet complete. The strange sensation of knowing that life is emerging, being generated within, and that one day, it will be one more human, with its own life. In Khem, women prepared for this for a long time. From childhood, we learned about sacred sexuality, understanding that our bodies would host spirits, and that if we prepared correctly, those spirits would remain connected throughout life. After fertility tests, fertility ceremonies, the practice of sexual intercourse led us to the moment of conception, which had to be done with full awareness that a new being would be called into existence. During the gestation process, the woman went through different stages of healing, with aromatherapy, oils, massages, preparing her body and the baby's for a healthy and pleasurable birth. Women of the priestly class, or from Atlantean families, usually began our journey to the center of the country a month before childbirth. In the area of present-day Luxor and Karnak, which we called Ur, women went through many stages of preparation, with hot baths, oils, massages, and even sexual rituals, to prepare the birth canal and the body in general. When the first contractions began, the boats took us along the Nile to present-day Abydos, and the priestesses received us to begin the birth. Dressed in soft white silks, every day we immersed ourselves in the waters of the temple. Women performed their singing circles, and talked to the baby. The man immersed with the woman in the waters to make love to her, while the priestesses, with their faces painted blue and black, looked towards the side chambers of the temple playing drums and rattles, singing chants under the starlight. Then, kneeling, within the waters, childbirth began. The goal was to turn pain into pleasure, and birth was experienced as a pleasurable orgasm, induced by medicinal herbs, which dilated and excited. When the baby's head began to emerge, the priestess caressed around it singing to the water, and among tribal and loving chants, echoing the ancient shamanic melodies of European steppe women, the mother pushed in ecstasy, looking at the skies, while the temple mother received the baby. I remember when her hands took Usr, my son, while Sobek held me, and the Mother Lady took my hands for me to receive my son in my own hands. The beauty of that moment was engraved in my memory, and with it, the welcome of the temple mother to our son: "Waershu hai-ti, atum bub-hei" (Welcome to life, the path to death). And at that moment, after the mother's kiss, after my kiss on the forehead, the child was taken by the Temple Mother, who presented him to the stars forging his destiny. "Usr aeiot, Usr aeyeh" (Thought of Light is your purpose and destiny, and the thought of light will be in you), resonated in her words, showing his body and pronouncing his name to seal his energy. "Er'shu nanat-byr, es'shu Danot-bah" (You have come from the womb of a mother, to go to the hands of The Mother). "Edeni-let tum-hei tep-nes eguew". (May the stars guide your steps on earth). "Aeiot aeyeh" (Your destiny is forged).

_AM: Destiny.

_I: Destiny led me to live this, led me to remember, to return to that place that seemed forgotten, so far back in time. Destiny made me find Sobek again, and I feel it will lead me again to Usr. Being born in a distant land, and finding myself again in front of the Osirion, was part of my destiny, and the tears that flowed from my face, the crying that emerged from my soul, confirmed my circular steps that had been singing for a long time that the day would come when my feet would stop again in front of that place that marked my happiness. In this life I suffered it, seeing it in ruins, feeling that I could no longer be with Sobek, and that my son was no longer, and I don't even know where he is. And yet everything seems to lead me, to channel me to that story. It was Shiw's destiny to become Matías, and it is my destiny as Matías to remember Shiw. As the ancestors said: "it is written in the stars". I wonder if that's true, if our destiny is really written in the heavens, if we are destined to live what we live. So, I ask you... What is destiny?

_AM: I'm glad you ask, because then you can free yourself from it, and truly fulfill it. What is destiny for you?

_I: It's a goal, where we are headed on a journey. The end of a road, or conceptually, something that is inevitable to happen, that is written, and no matter what you do, it will happen anyway.

_AM: And... What if I told you it's exactly the opposite?

_I: Well... You would turn me completely around, and I wouldn't know where I stand anymore.

_AM: Well, then let me tell you so you can stop standing around waiting. Destiny, it's not about the place you're going, but the place you're leaving. The word Destiny comes from Latin (and this from Indo-European), formed by two words: "deh" (to depart, to leave) and "stinare" (apophony of "stare", which means to stand, fixed, still), origin of the English word "stare", which means to stand still looking at something fixedly, and the Spanish verb "Estar", which speaks of staying still in a spatial position. If you analyze the etymology, the word Destiny refers to leaving a state of stillness, starting a journey. It shares its meaning with "Distance", which speaks of the branching of a stage, of a place. Both distance and destiny speak of the process between one point and another. So, destiny is what you do to reach a purpose (pro-position= something placed in front). Therefore, destiny doesn't speak of the determined, but of the possibilities you have to fulfill this path. If you decide to embark on the journey at night, you will need certain tools that will be different from if you want to embark on the journey during the day. Destiny is the landscape in which you will move, you decide how.

_I: So destiny isn't something fixed, but a choice.

_AM: Well, you can't change the mountain, but you can choose to climb it, go around it, or go through it with a tunnel. The stars and planets that make up your astrological chart, the stellar seal of the moment you are born, give you the tools. If you're Aries, it will give you ropes to climb the mountain, if you're Taurus, it will give you the strength to go through the mountain, if you're Gemini it will give you a map of the mountain, if you're Cancer it will give you company so you don't walk alone; if you're Leo it will give you a compass to guide others, if you're Virgo it will give you a backpack with a survival kit, if you're Libra it will give you brushes to paint the mountain, if you're Scorpio it will give you a Swiss Army knife, if you're Sagittarius it will give you a treasure map, if you're Capricorn it will give you a list of missions to fulfill at each stage, if you're Aquarius it will give you a blank notebook to write down your ideas as you walk, if you're Pisces it will give you binoculars to be able to see everything from afar. The mountain is the mountain, but the context will give you the tools to cross it. Your tool was the compass, with a treasure map and missions to fulfill, decorated with the purpose of remembering. Your destiny is to remember, because remembering is your path and gift, not your purpose. You decide what you do on that path, and how you do it.

_I: Why do we believe that destiny is something fixed, determined for our future?

_AM: Because the future is only written based on our choices in the past. When you pretend that personality chooses your destiny it's like driving a car at 150 km per hour and letting go of the wheel to let the car decide the end of the road. It is the spirit who decides, because the spirit is consciousness. The reason people live the belief that destiny is fixed is because they live their lives through the subconscious, guided by the car, by the body, without consciousness of the driver, of the spirit. And there are those who consider this unfair, as if spirit and body were different things.

_I: I thought that. I believed that my spirit was a controller, a being outside of me, apart from my personality, who directed my life as if I were its slave, until I realized that the spirit is the conscious part of my being, and that it was my subconscious who considered itself separate and oppressed.

_AM: You can understand, then, that those who think that the spirit is an interdimensional manipulator of the poor beings who live on earth, are actually living in the subconscious confusion of the preconceptions of their body. Therefore, destiny seems determined, limiting the will to act, as they separate themselves from the only being capable of decision freedom: the spiritual mind. Until you deign to recognize that you are a manifested extension of your spirit, you will continue to live a path chosen by other parts of you. But when you connect to your complete being, you will recognize that destiny is not determinant. Destiny is that moment when you stop being fixed to move, it is the instant when you decide to be born, and walk by yourself, when you leave the fixed place of the womb, to be free in your walk.

_I: Destiny is the starting point...

_AM: It's the beginning of life. And each day is a rebirth. Each day you choose your destiny, each day you take a tool for the adventure that begins. Destiny is getting out of stillness, of being fixed in one place looking forward, and taking the initiative to move forward, to move, to travel, to undertake the adventure of living. That's why you are the builder of your own destiny. The stars and external conditions are not limitations or determinations, but tools for your journey. Awaken, then, the knowledge manifested in you, to walk this destiny, and with full consciousness launch yourself to build it. Free yourself from the belief that it is the sky and divine magic that determine what you are, because that sky and that magic are you, you are not below it, you are it in manifested form. So don't leave to others the destiny that only you can build.

_I: I am the one who chose everything I am experiencing, what I remember, what I do. I am the only one who decided to experience this reality, to move in this direction... I am the one who built this destiny I am heading towards... It's liberating.

_AM: Beyond the fact that there are patterns that determine your life and history, you must remember that the only reason you live them deterministically is because you have chosen them from your full consciousness, and today, here and now, you have launched yourself to live your choice.

_I: I am my own destiny, with every step I take.

_AM: Now that you know it, you are ready to be reborn. Take the reins of your life, and design your destiny.

_I: Step by step...

_AM: Welcome to Life, the Path to Death. May the stars guide your steps on earth. And in your freedom, you will forge your destiny.
