Qualities
_I: In yesterday's extensive conversation during the alignment, you gave me the image of the twelve zodiac signs to explain that one of our great challenges is to understand unity, respecting the characteristics and capacities of each of the parts that make up the whole. This got me thinking that many times we don't stop to consider what those own qualities are.
_AM: As I showed you yesterday, the Mind will seek to analyze the details of each of the parts. As in the Cartesian scientific method, to arrive at a result or answer that gives us understanding and insight, it is necessary to analyze the parts and the process by which such a result is reached. As we said yesterday, the only way to become the Cosmos is through the Order of its parts, since the word Cosmos comes from the Greek and means Order. If I don't organize everything inside me, I can't understand what I am, what I possess. If I don't understand the different parts of reality, I can't comprehend the meaning of existence. And each of these parts plays a fundamental role, as it has its positive and negative properties; it has its own tools, which when combined correctly with the others, lead to an expected result.
_I: As we discussed, we cannot expect to find Order just by feeling, by hoping that things will sort themselves out. It's like the erroneous concept of Faith, which implies a certainty that something will happen, and that the fact that it happens is beyond my actions; or thinking of the confused concept of Hope, which is precisely waiting for something to happen and which is beyond my reach. The typical phrases that are often used, "Time puts everything in its place," or "Time solves everything," are false beliefs because time is nothing more than a result of our actions and attitudes in Space. We have to do things for things to happen. And if I don't understand those things and their qualities, I will never see results...
_AM: In the spiritual world, there is often so much trust in the order of the Universe that scientific inquiry, step by step analysis of things to understand them, is disregarded. Understanding reality is not just about trusting that it exists, but it implies knowing it, understanding it, assimilating it in each of its factors. The alchemy of Being is not mental magic, it is applied chemistry. From the Arabic and Greek "al-khumiya": pouring together, unifying elements. This is a process of the mind. The task is to learn, nature is to transcend through self-awareness, and this is only achieved by analyzing the parts that make me up, only by honoring the differences and qualities of each of my organs will I know how to take care of them. Understanding the properties of each food, I will know how to nourish myself. Understanding the potential of each chakra, I will know how to connect and activate them. Understanding their connection, I will know where to locate them and recognize their position and logic in the order in which they are expressed in my body. By accepting that I call their potential energies Emotions, I can identify what vibrates within me and what I lack. By recognizing the forces that make me up, I can activate my capacities, my abilities, and open myself up to assimilating what I lack. And, in this process, I recognize my ability to expand or my limiting conflicts, thus understanding my beliefs about the world. This will allow me to free myself from preconceptions, and free others from my prejudices, thus valuing the qualities of each of the people around me, knowing now that each one is like those chakras or organs of my body, fulfilling a fundamental role by being different. We cannot expect all the organs of our bodies to be Heart, and all work for Service with Love, because the body would not exist, we would die. Order is knowing ourselves, it is understanding each part that generates us, it is giving it the value it deserves, honoring the place it occupies, the tool it provides. And in this way, living in harmony with the Cosmos.
_I: Not expecting others to be like me, or as it seems or suits me according to my beliefs, but understanding that the capacities, abilities, and personality traits of each one are useful for the functioning of the whole. That's why governments or institutions don't work, because it's like if each organ of our body, instead of collaborating, delegates power to just one organ of the body. That's why the concept of Unity must be understood more as the mechanism of many different entities building a single Being and being part of it, than as many beings with the same idea, philosophy, thought, or feeling being One.
_AM: Therefore, each individual, before thinking about the social beliefs that limit us (which is always easier because this way the blame falls on the other), what they must do first is recognize what their own beliefs are, the ones that make up themselves. Identifying each of them is like finding the numbers that make up the code to open a safe. They are hidden in each one, and it may take years to discover them, but it is important to start thinking about them, to recognize that they are there, and that these beliefs filter the information we receive from the Divine Consciousness of the Whole.
_I: I made my lists, in which I discovered and made my beliefs conscious of being a messenger of the Universe, my belief that I have a purpose commanded by celestial spheres, my belief that everything I do is by mandate of past lives, my belief that there is always someone who knows more and I am nothing, my belief of being worthless beyond all I do, my belief that I don't deserve to be loved, that men are not worthy, that humans are bacteria... All of them, positive and negative, have shaped my way of being, what I have done at every step. I recognized that I managed to transform many of the beliefs I inherited, such as the belief of not being worthy, or the belief of racism, the belief of the messianic messenger. I even saw that some of these beliefs came from my grandfather, others from my grandmother, others even from other lives...
_AM: And there are many more that you still don't see, but that you will gradually discover. Write them down, don't let them fly in your mind. This is a list of the components that make you who you are. It is the recipe of your creation. Recognizing the ingredients that form your Beliefs is the key to understanding what filters your information. Every channeler and communicator receives information from their Higher Self from the crown, and it, according to its beliefs, translates the information into its own language. This does not mean that beliefs have to be eliminated, but that they must be recognized, and by doing so, I can identify when I speak a truth from my own belief, and I will know how to inform others about this before sharing. In this way, I free myself, and free others.
_I: And... how do I transform my beliefs?
_AM: Through your Qualities. Quality is the set of particular, unique capacities of each individual. They are the innate abilities in you, which are expressed in you. There are positive qualities and negative qualities. There are qualities that are awake and active in you, and there are qualities that you lack, that are missing in you and that you seek. Just as in atomic nature, your active
qualities, those you possess, are the force you give, that make you stand out, and the negative ones, those you lack, are what you seek in others through admiration, the need for learning, to obtain what you lack, like atoms sharing electrons.
_I: So, I'm supposed to recognize my Qualities as well as my Beliefs.
_AM: Identifying the Qualities you possess is understanding the role you play in the whole, realizing what you are capable of, and the tools you have to give to others. Similarly, by recognizing what you lack, you will know what you seek in your friends, in your partners, in your groups and companions. You will discover why you choose the people you share your life with, and you will understand the appearance of those conflicting characters on the path of life.
_I: I understand. I think that many times, identifying one's own qualities and those we lack is very complicated because we were educated not to be selfish, and sometimes, recognizing what we have of good gives us a little shame, as if we were actually feeding the ego more than we should. It is more common or normal to say that it is not me who can mention those qualities, but that others are the ones who should say it. In other words, I can say that I am a very good friend, but that might not be true, and my friends don't think the same way... How do I know that what I consider a quality is not an idea of something that I actually lack?
_AM: It is very possible, by reflex, that many people believe they are something they are not, but they choose to believe it because they need it. By saying they are, they begin to seek ways to assimilate it and become it. The external gaze is the one that will reflect what you are. That's why you have to observe the world around you and tell yourself: "I Am a very good friend to my friends," and there, open your eyes and think about your friendships, how they are, are they sincere?
_I: You know...? Now that you mention it... For example, I wrote that one of my qualities is precisely "being a good friend." However, now that you put it this way, I understand something that I often do many times, and that is that I believe I am a good friend because I do everything possible for my friends to achieve their dreams, have what they want, and if I analyze it well, that has a very intricate hidden feeling, which is "buying friendship and love." The more I give to my friends, the more love I will receive in return. And looking back, I realize that many of the friendships I lost were precisely because of doing everything they wanted, or trying to give them what they were looking for. So, really, "being a good friend" was not one of my qualities, but one of my needs and shortcomings. From the moment I let go of this belief that "love has to be earned," I stopped giving as before, and I started to enjoy with my friends. And now I feel much more balance in that aspect.
_AM: That's exactly why we have to think very well about what we aim and write down. What I believe about myself is not always the truth. Just as what others see is not always the truth. That's why I have to take responsibility for recognizing what my awake qualities are and what my dormant qualities are. Close your eyes, and analyze. Think about all those qualities that you consider you have as a person, active in your ego, and without shame or preconceptions, dare to write them down, and analyze them thinking if this statement has given the correct results in your life. And in the column next to it, write down the ones you know you lack, that you may see in your friends and partners, or idols, and project your need to awaken that in you. Write them down, and think why you believe they are dormant in you, and why you haven't done anything to awaken them.
_I: I simply write down, and analyze. Without seeking to awaken them.
_AM: Exactly. Because we are here analyzing what and why. Until you understand the parts that make you up, you will not understand the functionality of the whole organism.
_I: This is like eating flour every day and not understanding why our stomach hurts. Until I understand how the stomach works, the gallbladder, the intestines, and all the organs and their daily functions, I will not understand the harm it is doing to me, or the limits and capacities that each one possesses. And only then will I decide to change my diet, through knowledge.
_AM: So take your notebook, and write down QUALITIES. Below, two columns: in one the ones I HAVE and in the other the ones I LACK. Be sincere, and without shame or worrying about the ego, write down everything you know you are, and what you need to be complete.
_I: I start by recognizing that I Have Gratitude for all of this.
_AM: I Am in you, I Am one of your qualities.
